A Membership to Suit Everyone

• Regular (paid) memberships run for six months and continue automatically unless canceled.

​​​​

• If a member moves to a higher tier before the six‑month period ends, the current membership will close and the new one will begin. Moving to a lower tier can be done only at the end of the six‑month term.

​​

Desktops / Smartphones

Totally Literate begins with very young learners — often children who are not yet able to tie their shoes. At this early stage, using a smartphone is simply too difficult for them. In addition, many of our most helpful beginning‑reader materials are either inaudible on smartphones or not accessible at all.

​

As children grow and their skills develop, smartphone use becomes more practical. Even so, all students should begin on a desktop. Only later, once they are ready, does it make sense for them to transition to a smartphone.

​

Membership Fees

Members are entitled to products within their specific tier plus those in lower priced tiers as well.​

Honorary Memberships

Rhodium Membership (Premier Plan)

Totally Literate is offered free to non‑profit educational organizations, including:

• Private and parochial schools (elementary, middle, and high schools)

• College or university libraries and language labs

• Literacy councils and tutoring programs

• Non‑profit jails, prisons, and re‑entry programs

• Homeless shelters and transitional housing

• Community centers and after‑school programs

• Faith‑based outreach groups

• Businesses that support employee learning or community literacy

Eligible organizations may receive up to 10 free six‑month subscriptions to support their most in‑need learners.

If your program needs more than 10 subscriptions, additional copies are available at our standard program rate of $12 per learner for six months.

​

​Platinum Membership is also an honorary (free) membership, offered to Special Friends of Totally Literate. Platinum members receive all Rhodium benefits plus all products in our College Bookstore are free for them .

​​​To request either membership, simply click the appropriate button below and fill out the form. After we receive your submission, a Totally Literate representative will review it and confirm your access. Once approved, you may log in using your email address.

Please include in the message box something specific about your organization or your family member(s) who will be using the website. Foreign institutions, kindly use English to fill out the form and note your primary spoken language and the type of school you administer.
