To Translate a Word Document

Steps 1 and 2:

  • Click Review on the Word Ribbon

  • Then click Translate Icon​

Step 3:

​After "Translate" has been clicked the box below appears, then.—

  • Click Translate Selection​ (for our example)

Step 4:

  • Click Multiple Pages then use the mouse wheel to get 2-Page Side-by-Side View​​

  • Add a blank page to preserve the original

Step 6:

  • Highlight both stories. When you do the Translator panel will open. (In the example, we had preselected Bulgarian. If we want a different language, we'd click the caret next to Bulgarian, and from the list of languages that is trigger we'd make our choice.

Steps 7 and 8:

  • Copy the Bulgarian text using Ctrl + C.

  • Paste the text in the blank page using Ctrl + V.

  • The translation appears in box that had been blank.

Re-do 2

To Read Aloud:

  • Click the Read Aloud. (When we do the voices controls will appear on the top right of the screen.

  • Click on "Ace" or "AC" to begin the narration.

  • We can go back and forth from one language to the other seamlessly. To change the delivery, pause the narration then adjust the voice controls to your liking.
